The girls Cross Country team placed 2nd and the boys
4th in D-IV competition at the Saints Small School championships last
Friday at Morley field. Katherine Wingert was 3rd in the girls race
covering the 2.75 mile course in 17:39 followed by Beth Wittry (7th
in 18:52), Ashley Walsh (16th in 19:55), Marissa Nagler (17th in 20:16),
Caitlin Bigham (21st in 20:31), Karolin Ivarsson (23rd on 20:43) and
Dayna Queisser (32nd in 21:32). In the boys race Jake Ruzevick covered
the 3.1 mile boys course placing 2nd in 17:12 followed by Ryan Haig
(16th in 19:03), Brad Munns (22nd in 19:31), Jack Harms (31st), Blake
Gorey (41st) and Buddy Marshall (42nd). Judd Lyon and Andrew placed
25th and 38th respectively in the boys JV race.
