So you'll understand how the table below works look at the October 5th races. One race will have Coronado, Clairemont, San Diego, and Hoover but only Coronado-Clairemont and San Diego - Hoover will be scored as dual meets. We'll have another like that for the girls. The other boys race will have Christian, Madison, Crawford, Mission Bay, Lincoln, and Kearny but only Central schools will be scored against Central and City schools will be scored against City in dual meets the computer will sort out. Dual meet scoring, not Invite scoring, will be used.

A word about the byes… because of the way the schedule was set-up three schools from each league have byes. This, however, doesn't mean that they have to miss a meet as they can simply run in one of the other races on their bye day. This won't mess-up the results at all since the computer will be programmed to score only the teams that are competing against each other on that day. In fact it doesn't even matter if the bye team splits it's runners between any of the 4 races available that day.... even a different gender race. To take this a step or two further, we could let anyone run in any of the 4 races at random and I'd still be able to sort it all out in the end by combining all races in the computer and scoring by school and gender. If you want to do this (run on a bye day) let me know so I can print out tags for you for that day.
