Middle School Meet the coaches: Brian Schumeyer Coach Schumeyer went to high school in NY where he ran varsity x-country and winter track for four years and spring track for 3 years while simultaneously playing lacrosse. He earned multiple all division, all conference, and all county honors for x-country and the 2 mile in track. He also earned all state honors in his Junior year of x-country. He accepted a lacrosse scholarship to Marist College where he was a 4 year starter and co-captain in his senior year. In addition to his Lacrosse skills he possess a lot of knowlege amongst all track and field events including shotput, polevault, sprints, hurdles, long jump, high jump, etc. Lisa Ryan Paperwork.... Schedule: Unlike every other school in the league we don't have to travel to our meets as they're all held at the Coronado Track on Wednesdays beginning at 3:15pm. That's both good and bad. The good part is we don't have to travel and we can control the way the meet is run with detailed results (see the Middle School League Webpage). The bad part is we don't get to travel and have become responsible for running the meet (with help from the other schools) and keeping up the results stats. Also, there are always conflicts with LaCrosse and we lose a day of High School Track Practice. -George Green |
