This is a great record that would stand up against the best in the county today. It was set at 120 yards in 1970 in 14.4. Since the difference between 120 yards and 110 meters is less than 11 inches there is no conversion factor. Besides Mansueto, the 1970 team had county leaders in the half mile (Warren Racine), Tony Phillips (quarter Mile), and a strong distance running crew. Robert also ran the 440 leg of the previous DMR Record set in 1970.

Previous Record Holder:
Charlie Love: 14.7 for 120 yard high hurdles in 1956

Love also ran 19.1 (windy) for the 180 yard low hurdles that year.
This was a bit faster than the wind-legal 19.7 run by Harry Sykes in 1952.
Since the 180 yd lows are no longer run, these records will probably never be broken.

Previous Record Holder:
Richard Tulley: 15.6 for 120 yard high hurdles in 1949

The record above was taken from a list of school records prepared by Sunday Durland in 1955. There appear to be gaps in the records from 1955 to 1994 so if anyone has information on records set during this period
