200 record

A transfer student from Mira Costa in Manhatten Beach CA, Lauren Gilhooly wasted no time in making a name for herself in the San Diego Section. In her first 200 of the season, in a FAT timed cluster meet, she ran 25.07.
Then, at the Elmer Runge Invite at Patrick Henry on March 16th, she clocked a time of 24.46. It's early in the season and shes' a junior, so this record will come down even more. The previous record by Alysah Hickey stood for seven years. After clocking 11.88 twice to miss the 100 record by 1/100 of second, she ran 11.70 at the Arcadia Invite to claim that record as well.
